Ground comments: Tottenham have one of the most impressive grounds in the top flight, with
a capacity of around 34,000. All four sides of the ground have impressive stands,
such as the ?m West Stand which was opened by Sir
Stanley Rous in 1982. The stand contains offices, 72
executive boxes and other modern facilities. More refurbishment occurred in the early
Nineties to make White Hart Lane one of the most glamorous grounds in England. This is in
stark contrast to when Spurs first played at the ground in 1898 as a non-league side.
